McMahons Farm is a distributor of wholesale dairy, organic and natural gourmet foods. We are seeking a self starter detail oriented individual with excellent communication, customer service, and data entry skills. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years customer service background. Food industry experience and Spanish speaker a plus!
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with a range of customer service activities, such as answering the phone, taking customer orders, making outgoing calls to customers & vendors, entering order data in computer database, expediting customer orders.
Must be able to multitask.
Ability to work independently and complete multi-level tasks (self-directed).
Timely resolution of requests and inquiries pertaining to pricing discrepancies, and customer issues associated with orders and deliveries.
Coordinate with customers and vendors handling inquires regarding product pricing, orders, and invoices.
Maintain customers and products in the database.
Handle general office filing, printing and scanning, distribute faxes, check emails and all other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills
Prior strong Customer Service/Sales experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) a must.
Strong communication skills with customers and vendors as well as upper management.
Ability to understand both technical and non-technical documents relating to sales, product and product information.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Customer resolution and problem solving skills.
Data entry 40-50 WPM.
Education
High school diploma.
